As a Digital Asset Management Vendor, and International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Community member, Luna Imaging, Inc. is happy to see IIIF adoption encouragement coming from the museum community.
The letter, The Museum Community Reaches out to Digital Asset Management (DAM) Software Vendors, was signed by 36 institutions and was sent to 70 DAM software vendors, urging them to incorporate native IIIF support into their products.
As an early adopter of IIIF -- as noted in the letter, Luna is the “one DAM vendor” already supporting IIIF -- we already have clients with IIIF enabled LUNA collections.
